I have been in touch with Jim Kacian, the Editor and Pubisher of Red Moon Press.
I purchased a book called “’Nothing in the Window” which is an anthology of English-language haiku.
What struck me was that all his content was gleaned from other published books and periodicals, such as Frogpond, , Notes from the Gean, The Haiku Calendar, Modern Haiku etc.
I mailed him a copy of our book POHM with a note, saying we would be pleased to be included in his Anthologies. To please let us know his decision. Each of his editors is assigned a book and is free to nominate something they feel is exceptional. When the nominating period (one year) concludes, all related works which receive a nomination are placed anonymously on a roster. The roster is sent to the judges for inclusion.
My fingers are crossed…though there are many haiku and haibun, senyru is slightly behind. This may be a big push for us.
